[ sonic has only been missing for some time, but not enough time to warrant that type of reaction. actually, it's disturbing when he talks like that, there's a childish whimsy to it that makes the fur on the back of shadow's neck stand. he dismisses that odd feeling in favor of showing his irritation at the fact that sonic has been gone far too long.

how dare shadow find him sitting on his ass not doing anything, he would have expected the blue hedgehog to have some sort of plan or to be doing something, how he got here in the old domain and construct of the time eater is another issue, but even then he faced the challenges to get out. what excuse does he have to still be here struggling? it's like the other wants to mock him, make shadow's life a little more difficult than it has to be.

there are things he has to do which doesn't involve handling whatever mess sonic leaves behind when he's not around. those issues are his issues, they aren't anything that belongs to shadow. even the hyper focus of it's you pisses him off, what about everyone else, why is he fixated on the wrong things? such happiness when he's been gone for so long only makes looks worse in shadow's eyes. ]
